Trudy has been the Executive Director of the agency since January, 1995. Her primary responsibilities include overseeing the daily operation of the agency and ensuring the success of Hetlinger, its consumers, and its mission. Sara was previously a case manager for Hetlinger before assuming her current position in January, 2001. Sara's duties include intake and referral, eligibility determination, maintaining an information system of persons receiving or waiting for services, managing the area's financial allocation, coordinating the Quality Assurance Committee and the Council of Community Members, and affiliating with area community service providers.Contact Sara at (620) 342-1087, extension 213, or spearson@hetlinger.org.
Linda completes annual basis assessment on all individuals in the Hetlinger CDDO service area. She reviews service options with individuals as well as completing satisfaction surveys and quality service reviews for some individuals. Jan began her position as Financial Manager in January, 1999. She is responsible for the overall financial matters of the agency, including budgets, payroll, financial statements, billings, and accounts receivable and payable. Bev has been with the agency since July, 1999. She served as secretary/receptionist prior to becoming the Administrative Assistant. Lisa has been a case manager with the agency since November 1996. Her prior experience with another agency included direct care and community employment. Shelli was hired as a case manager in April,
2004. She had previous experience as a case manager with another agency
serving individuals with developmental disabilities. Contact
Tammy has been with Hetlinger Developmental Service since 2001. She previously was responsible for training staff and working with consumers in skills classes. This expertise will be valuable in her new position. Tammy’s duties include directing the Day Service programs, obtaining subcontract work, and completion of the Special Certificate with the Department of Labor. Leanne’s
past experiences as a Direct Support Professional and Coordinator of the
Enrichment Program have helped prepare her for her duties as Training
Coordinator. Her duties include training the staff in MANDT and driving
improvement. She holds monthly in-services for the direct support staff
and either teaches the class or schedules a special speaker on topics
of interest. She is also responsible for ensuring that consumer records
are kept up to date, as required by licensing regulations. Contact
Cheryl has been the agency nurse since September, 1998. Her responsibilities encompass caring for the medical needs of the consumers including medication administration, first aid and hygiene issues. She is certified to teach First Aid/CPR and holds classes for staff to keep their certifications current. Cheryl ensures that staff vaccinations are up to date, as required by licensing.
